Foundation for Support of Reforms in Ukraine is opening a competition for the position TRANSLATOR-SYNCHRONIST for the «TIPSTER program: trade, intellectual property support and technical regulation».
The TIPSTER project is implemented by the NGO «Foundation for Support of Reforms in Ukraine» with the financial support of the German government within the framework of the international cooperation project ReACT4UA («Application and implementation of the Association Agreement between the EU and Ukraine in the field of trade»), the executor of which is the German federal company Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. The project is aimed at increasing the competitiveness and sustainability of Ukrainian small and medium-sized enterprises, especially given the accession to the EU.
Language: Ukrainian – English, English – Ukrainian.
Main tasks:

providing interpretation services on business and legal topics, in particular, in the field of technical regulation, intellectual property, and export, market supervision, during meetings, workshops, online meetings, and other online and offline events;

assistance in preparing for meetings, workshops, online meetings and other online and offline events;

provision of other services that may be necessary for the successful implementation of the program.
Working conditions:

part-time employment at the request of the project team;

possibility of working remotely.
Mandatory requirements:

higher translation education;
-
work experience in the field of business and legal interpretation;
-
experience in interpreting in the field of technical regulation and market supervision; intellectual property will be an additional advantage;

fluency in Ukrainian and English.
