Non-Governmental Union «Foundation for Support of Reforms in Ukraine» (NGU «FSRU»), with the support of The Office of the United Kingdom's Special Defence Advisory Team: Ukraine British Embassy Kyiv, as part of the project «EXPERT SUPPORT OF THE TRANSFORMATION OF THE MINISTRY OF DEFENCE, ARMED FORCES OF UKRAINE, AND UKRAINIAN DEFENCE SECTOR» is looking for experienced Project Management Expert to join the team on Implementation of the Defence Procurement Reform Project.
Main tasks:
- Providing assistance and support to organisational change projects;
- Advising on the implementation of Programme and Project Management in the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of Ukraine to identify the needs for improvement and optimisation of procurement;
- Supporting projects entrusted with the implementation of Programme and Project Management and advising on Programme and Project Management;
- Developing proposals for the advancement of the Defence Management System and the Capability Development Programme and Project Management System;
- Facilitating the process of information-based decision-making within Programme and Project Management;
- Ensuring the development and functioning of effective project teams in Defence Procurement;
- Providing assistance and guidance for transformational and cultural changes in projects/programmes;
- Promoting the development of strong leadership for the effective implementation of programmes and projects;
- Preparing presentations and other necessary materials;
- Interacting with relevant Project Stakeholders;
- Ensuring the successful fulfilment of the goals and objectives assigned.
Requirements:
- appropriate education and expertise in Programme and Project Management;
- experience in implementing Programmes and Projects;
- experience in implementing organizational changes and change management;
- ability to work effectively with various stakeholders;
- understanding the principles of gender equality and diversity;
- knowledge of modern leadership concepts and approaches to transformation processes;
- willingness to explore the best international experience and practice.

Contract duration: 12 months with possible prolongation (for contracting, a candidate should be able to register as a Private Entrepreneur of the 3d group).
