TERMS OF REFERENCE
Title: Youth Police Legal Advisor
In order to strengthen the system of child protection and improving the efficiency of National Police units operating in this field there is a necessity to prepare unified regulations governing their activity that contain necessary changes in the part covering child protection.
The Youth Police Legal Advisor will support the Ministry of Internal Affairs in developing sub-laws on operation of sectors of juvenile prevention. S/he will work closely with the Ministry’s reform team, as well as respective departments of the Ministry and National Police to ensure by the end of his/her assignment broad stakeholder engagement in developing needed regulations, action plan and ensure its sustainable implementation.
