Horizon Logistics: Supporting SMEs on their way to the EU market!
We are proud to share the successes of the Horizon Logistics program, implemented with the support of EU4Business. The program's goal is to assist in building logistics and supporting Ukrainian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in entering the EU market, and our achievements have exceeded expectations!
Thanks to an effective promotional campaign that reached over 70,000 Diia.Business subscribers and numerous regional development agencies, chambers of commerce, and partner organizations, we received 108 applications and selected 63 SMEs for participation in the program within a month from March 10 to April 7, 2024. These Ukrainian companies produce agricultural machinery, decor and building materials, food products, clothing, and toys and are eager to expand their presence in Europe.
The educational phase of the program included 6 interactive trainings conducted by international and Ukrainian practitioner experts. The training topics covered green logistics, customs clearance, oversized and dangerous goods logistics, and other relevant issues. Participants have access to materials through the Talent LMS platform, ensuring 24/7 support and the possibility of feedback.
After the group training stage, 56 SMEs were selected to work individually with leading experts to develop effective logistics plans for the EU markets, considering the specific needs of each enterprise.
It is important to note that 70% of the program participants are women, demonstrating the resilience of Ukrainian entrepreneurship and affirming our commitment to the principles of equal opportunities.
By the end of June, we plan to help participants find optimal solutions to the logistics challenges they face in the EU.
