On January 28, 2019, during the Reform Council Meeting, the Reform Support Team (RST) at the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine presented its Annual Report on the outcomes of its work in 2018.
The Reform Council Meeting is organized by the RST with a view to summarize the achieved team's progress and discuss with international partners plans for Ukrainian reforms.
The purpose of the Reform Support Team (RST) at the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine is to provide coordination, analytical and communication support to the Ministry in the process of key reforms implementation.
The key reforms in 2018:
- Public administration reform (Ministry of Finance capacity building)
- Public Finance Management reform
- Tax reform
- Customs reform
- Optimization of social security system
- State-owned banks reform
- Cooperation with International Financial Institutions
The Reform Support Team at the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine is funded by the Ukraine Stabilisation and Sustainable Growth Multi-Donor Account (MDA) managed by the EBRD. Contributors to the MDA are Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United States and the European Union.
