Project Manager for the «EU4Business: SME Recovery, Competitiveness, and Internationalization» program

The Foundation for Support of Reforms in Ukraine is excited to announce the opening for the position of Project Manager for the «EU4Business: SME Recovery, Competitiveness, and Internationalization» program.  

This program, funded by the European Union and the German Government, aims to provide grants of 10,000 EUR each to support small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in Ukraine. The program is being implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, the online portal for public services "Diia," the Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office of Ukraine, the national project for the development of entrepreneurship and export "Diia.Business," and the Foundation for Support of Reforms in Ukraine.  

As the Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and coordinating the implementation of the program.  

Your responsibilities will include: 

- project management and ownership 

- overseeing the grant allocation process,  

- ensuring effective communication and reporting among the project partners,  

- providing guidance and monitoring the progress of supported SMEs, 

Reporting to the CEO of the Foundation for Support of Reforms in Ukraine 

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with the following skills and qualifications: 

  • proven experience in project management, preferably in the context of development programs or SME support initiatives,

  • deep understanding of the Ukrainian business landscape, particularly in relation to SMEs and their challenges related to the full-scale war, 

  • excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of effectively coordinating diverse stakeholders, 

  • strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and collaborate with government officials, project partners, and SME representatives, 

  • demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing capacity-building activities for SMEs, including training programs, mentorship initiatives, or access to finance solutions,

  • familiarity with monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess program effectiveness and impact,

  • fluency in English and proficiency in Ukrainian.
