The Ministry of Education and Science announces the establishment of the Reform Support Team under the Ministry.
We are opening the call for experts to the Reform Support Team:
- Director of Reform Support Team - Requirements;
- Deputy Director, technical and vocation education track - Requirements;
- Deputy Director, the New Ukrainian School track - Requirements;
- Assistant to the Reform Support Team - Requirements;
To participate in the competition, the applicants are requested to submit the following documents in English:
- a completed application form - download here;
- CV in English;
- at least one professional recommendation in English or Ukrainian with English translation.
Deadline for submission of documents is 23:59 min (Kyiv time) on May 2, 2019.

These positions require full employment and physical presence at the office in Kyiv.
About the Reform Support Team
RST is a group of Ukrainian professionals (non-civil servants) funded on a temporary basis by the donors that provides targeted technical support and assists the Ministry in the design and implementation of the priority reforms. The RST consultants provide assistance in filling the capacity gaps in the design and implementation of priority reform strategies and programs, while strengthening links and partnerships between the Ministry’s priorities and relevant donor support.”
The focus of the Reform Support Team at the Ministry of Education and Science will be on the implementation of the New Ukrainian School reform and the reform of technical and vocational education.
The team will consist of 22 experts who will work on the implementation of the concept of the "New Ukrainian School" and the on reform of vocational education. The recruitment will be carried out in several waves: 1) by May 2, 2019 -deadline for submission of applications for the vacancies of the management of the Team and assistant; 2) upon completing the acceptance of applications for the vacancies of the management and assistant of the Team, the next round of call for applications for the remaining vacancies will be announced. The funding source of this assignment is the EBRD Ukraine Stabilisation and Sustainable Growth Multi-Donor Account (MDA). The contributors are: Denmark, the European Union, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States of America. Please note selection and contracting will be subject to MDA procedures and availability of funding.
The work of the Reform Support Teams under the Ministry of Education and Science will be carried out at the expense of the Donor Fund for Stabilization and Sustainable Development of Ukraine, administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and funded by: Denmark, the European Union, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States of America.
