In the first session, media expert on AI and current judge Andrii Ryshchenko spoke about how to use AI tools effectively, which applications are worth adopting, and where caution is needed. Current trends and practical recommendations were also discussed.

The second session focused on visuals for news and social media. How can you design a post so that it stops people scrolling and is easy to read? Yelyzaveta Sidorova, editor of the ‘Marketing and Media’ section at Forbes Ukraine, answered this question by sharing modern approaches to visual communications.

The third session was dedicated to writing news stories that interest the media. Serhii Shevchuk, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Forbes Ukraine, and Yurii Tarasovskyi, News Editor, explained the criteria the editorial team uses to select content, where to look for news angles, and how to set the right priorities.

Such meetings are an investment in the quality of government communications. After all, the way the authorities speak directly influences how they are heard.

The event took place as part of a project implemented by the NGU ‘Foundation for support of reforms in Ukraine’ within the international cooperation programme ‘STEP IN 2 EU’, which is co-funded by the governments of Germany and Norway, as well as by the European Union within the EU4Business initiative, and is implemented by the German federal company “Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH”.
