Quick Response Guide: How Communities Can Protect Damaged Cultural Heritage and Cultural Infrastructure
The Recovery Support Office under the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine has developed a practical Quick Response Guide for addressing damage to cultural heritage sites and cultural infrastructure.
The guide aims to help local communities quickly assess damage and determine the necessary steps for preserving and restoring cultural heritage or infrastructure following emergencies, hostilities, or terrorist acts.
The guide clearly explains:

How to register damages;

How to develop required scientific or project documentation;

How to obtain permits for restoration works;

How to carry out restoration works;

How to report on completed works.
This document will become an essential tool for communities at the forefront of protecting Ukraine's cultural heritage.
The Office was established by UNESCO Ukraine under the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine, funded by the Government of Japan, and implemented by the NGU “Foundation for Support of Reforms in Ukraine.”
