12th of December, at the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, Tetiana Berezhna, Deputy Prime Minister for Humanitarian Policy, presented the key strategic directions of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine.

The meeting with international partners focused on cultural policy priorities, new projects within the Cultural Resilience Alliance, the ministry's updated team, and the vision for the sector's development.

Particular attention was paid to the activities of the Recovery Support Unit, which, according to the Deputy Prime Minister, plays an important role in reforming cultural institutions, developing specialized education and the legal framework, and preserving and restoring cultural heritage.

During the meeting, the need to combine responses to urgent challenges with long-term development and increased resilience of the cultural sector was emphasized. The expansion of the office to support new areas of activity of the Ministry was also announced.

The Recovery Support Unit at the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine was established by UNESCO Ukraine with funding from the Government of Japan. The project is implemented by the Public Union “Fund for Support of Reforms in Ukraine.”
