UNIDO is a specialized agency of the United Nations with a unique mandate to promote sustainable industrial development.

The main purpose of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) is to contribute to peace and security by promoting collaboration among nations through education, science and culture in order to further universal respect for justice, the rule of law and the human rights and fundamental freedoms affirmed for the peoples of the world by the Charter of the United Nations without distinction of race, sex, language or religion.

The Ukraine-Moldova American Enterprise Fund is a regional fund funded by the U.S. government that has been investing in Ukraine and Moldova since 1994 and has been operating a refinancing and grant-funded technical assistance programme since 2015

On behalf of the German Federal Government, GIZ has been supporting the transformation process in Ukraine since 1993. GIZ is currently active in around 20 locations in Ukraine on behalf of four German ministries, the European Union (EU) and the UK Department for International Development (DFID). In Ukraine, GIZ employs around 90 local and international staff. Around 30 integrated and reintegrated temporary specialists support public administration, chambers of commerce and industry and medium-sized enterprises. Since 2009, GIZ has been operating a permanent office in Ukraine.

Expert Support of the Transformation of the Ministry of Defence, Armed Forces of Ukraine and Ukrainian Defence Sector (ESTMoD Project) and SDA-EDGE project are a part of the support programme led by the UK Special Defence Advisor Team (SDA), funded from the British Government’s Integrated Security Fund (ISF) budget.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway

From July to December 2016, the Foundation for Support of Reforms in Ukraine, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway, implemented the project ‘Human Resources Support for Reforms in Ukraine’. The aim of the project is to support the Ukrainian Government in implementing reforms by supporting initiatives closely linked to the implementation of key reforms. These initiatives deliver changes that can be clearly identified and measured. The project does not finance the day-to-day work of the Government of Ukraine, which is carried out by civil servants

The Embassy of the United States of America in Ukraine was opened on 22 January 1992. It currently represents more than a dozen US government ministries and agencies. Currently, the US Embassy in Ukraine cooperates with the NGO ‘Foundation for Support of Reforms in Ukraine’ to promote the development of national programmes and projects.

The International Renaissance Foundation is one of the largest charitable foundations in Ukraine. The Foundation was founded by financier and philanthropist George Soros.

The Foundation's mission is to develop an open society in Ukraine based on democratic values.
