Since 2016, Okto Family Group has been working tirelessly to create high-quality materials for creativity. From air plasticine to modelling dough and slimes, all products are manufactured using their own technology, in compliance with the highest quality and certification standards. The full production cycle - from idea to implementation - is carried out in Ukraine, which allows the company to control every stage of product creation.
However, manufacturing in Ukraine does not mean selling only in Ukraine. High-quality materials for creativity are in demand all over the world. The team of the Okto Family Group was convinced that there was definitely a place for their product in the international market of creativity and craft. But how to tell about yourself if people don't know you yet? Exhibitions, business meetings, and new acquaintances are the very doors that open the way to the global market.
Thanks to the Microgrants for Big Ideas: Export project, Okto Family Group was able to take part in the Spielwarenmesse 2025 exhibition in Nuremberg, becoming an exhibitor and presenting its products with dignity.
Results that exceeded expectations
📌 France: the Okto Family Group team met with three distribution companies. Negotiations on the terms of the contract are already underway, and a business trip to France is planned for April 2025 to finalise the deal. A is expected to be signed.
📌 Germany: the company's representatives held talks with six distributors, two of which expressed serious interest. One of the companies has already presented Okto products at a local exhibition in Germany, which is an important step towards large-scale cooperation.
📌 Switzerland: during the exhibition, the company additionally met a Swiss distributor, although this was not their goal. The client is currently studying the price offer, and a contract is expected to be signed in the near future.
💥 But that's not all! The team of the Okto Family Group has created the largest art object in the shape of a human hand, made of air plasticine. The 2-metre-high sculpture was included in the World Records Book. Oksana Schoorlemmer, a representative of the World Records Book, thanked the record holders for their initiative and emphasised that the plasticine hand is an innovative work that promotes Ukrainian culture.
This achievement has become an important contribution to the world of contemporary art and demonstrated new opportunities for working with innovative materials.
We are inspired!
The story of the Okto Family Group is a vivid proof that Ukrainian ideas, craftsmanship and quality resonate around the world. Despite all the challenges, Ukrainian business expands its horizons and shows that we can do more! And this is just the beginning. 💙💛
