Imagine a company where every product is created with care for the child, and every detail is thought out to the smallest detail. This is exactly how Goodevas works - a manufacturer of eco-friendly designs for children's physical activity and development, inspired by the Montessori method.
New opportunities - new horizons
The demand for high-quality, safe and educational structures is growing rapidly around the world. Therefore, the company has an ambitious goal to expand its presence in international markets. However, entering the global arena requires not only a quality product but also significant resources. By participating in the Microgrants for Big Ideas: Export programme, Goodevas received the necessary support.
Oleksandr Vitko, Deputy Director:
‘We are a company that has not stopped and does not plan to stop despite all the challenges caused by this terrible war. Our DNA is embedded in respect, cooperation and development. These are the principles that allow us to scale up production, create new jobs in Ukraine and pursue sustainable expansion into the European and US markets.’
What were the grant funds spent on?
Every innovative idea needs protection. So the company first started the process of patenting its developments. It signed an agreement with a contractor who has already completed a patent search in paid databases. Now the most important thing was to get confirmation of the uniqueness of the products.
In today's world, the first impression of a company is often formed through its online presence. So the next step was to update the website to turn it into an effective sales tool.
🛠 What was done?
✅ SEO optimisation - potential customers find products faster through search engines.
✅ New design - the site has become more convenient and attractive to users.
✅ Advertising settings - advertising reaches exactly those customers who are most interested in the products.
✅ Cross-Sale and Upsale blocks have been implemented - these tools help to increase the average check and stimulate sales.
🎯 Where to find your customer?
Exporting is not just about transporting goods to another country. It is an understanding of the culture, needs, and expectations of customers abroad. That's why the company also conducted market research and developed an export strategy, which helped determine that Germany was its priority market.
💥 Impressive results
And now - the most important thing! Thanks to its perseverance and grant support, Goodevas signed a Distribution Agreement with Treeberg GmbH worth €1.5 million and created 10 jobs in the last 6 months!
This means that very soon the products of the Ukrainian brand will be available to even more children in Europe.
Ukrainian business can do more!
This is not just a success story of one company, but proof that even in difficult times, Ukrainian business is growing, scaling up and representing our country with dignity on the world stage.
We are proud and inspired! 💙💛
