Yurii Shkil, Executive Director of the Foundation for Support of Reforms in Ukraine, and Anushavan Arutyunyan, Chair of the Ukrainian Association for Humanitarian Demining and Recovery, have signed a Memorandum of Partnership and Cooperation.

The cooperation will cover key areas:

improving state policy and legislation in the field of mine action;

developing professional training for specialists;

introducing modern technologies and digital solutions;

implementing projects for the economic, humanitarian and environmental recovery of Ukraine.
For the Foundation for Support of Reforms in Ukraine, the field of mine action is a new one, yet critically important. Humanitarian demining is today one of the key prerequisites for Ukraine’s recovery, as it lays the foundation for the safe return of people and the resumption of economic activity. We are ready to make every effort to enhance the effectiveness of mine action and support the affected areas.
